Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Limited Operations

The United States Embassy in Libreville will be open, but with limited operations, on Friday, September 23.  The limitation of operations is due to the likelihood of transportation problems throughout the city stemming from an expected Constitutional Court ruling.

Visa services and other routine consular services have been cancelled, but emergency services for U.S. citizens continue to be provided.  Please consult the Embassy website for updated information on the Embassy’s operational status.
