Provides 10 months of professional enrichment and non-degree graduate-level study in the U.S. for accomplished mid-level professionals.

International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP):
The U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. Through short-term visits to the United States, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience this country firsthand and cultivate lasting relationships with their American counterparts. Professional meetings reflect the participants’ professional interests and support the foreign policy goals of the United States. IVLP participants are nominated by U.S. Embassy officers. The program is not open to application.

Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Washington Fellowship:
YALI is a long-term effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders and strengthen partnerships between the U.S. and Africa. The Washington Fellowship will bring 1,000 young leaders, between the ages of 25-35, to U.S. universities and colleges each year for academic and leadership training. Fellows will receive world-class training and mentoring in three vital areas: business and entrepreneurship; civic leadership; and public administration.
